My experience with Song feels best shared in two parts: what I witnessed, and what I experienced.

Song invited me to look into her eyes, and I accepted.  As I did, her face subtly transformed, as though another presence came forward.  Her eyes gently closed, and beneath her eyelids I could see rapid movement ... extraordinarily fast ... continuing for several minutes.  When she opened her eyes again, a deep, quiet connection unfolded between us, beyond words.

After some time, she asked how my heart felt.  I shared that it felt very calm.  A few moments later, she asked again, and this time I described the sensation as being held in a warm embrace.  When she asked a third time, before I could even respond, my heart felt as though it shattered into a thousand pieces ... expanding far beyond my body, beyond the Earth itself.  It was as if parts of me were carried around the world and into realms beyond it.  Words truly fall short of capturing what occurred.

Before sharing the impact of this experience, it feels important to say that I am already firmly rooted on my spiritual path.  I know why I am here and what I am here to do at this time.  And yet, what followed this session was profound.

Since this experience, I no longer feel the need to offer disclaimers or to diminish myself.  I find that I am confidently owning who I am and why I am here.  The impulse to “soften” or explain away my truth before sharing something unconventional has simply fallen away.

I don’t yet fully understand everything that took place, and I trust that more will continue to unfold in time.  Song refers to this work as an Akasha session, and for me, it marked a powerful turning point.
